Lendlease Enterprise Agreement
The new agreement applies to workers who previously worked on bonus-based terms but did not agree with an enterprise agreement, as well as to a smaller group who worked under an EA that reached its nominal expiry date in 2011. The new agreement will protect the wage levels of all current workers, allow for a wage increase of 3% per year over a three-year period (back to 1 December 2016) and improve essential conditions. If a job has a registered contract, the premium does not apply. However, the Fair Work Commission can also help employers and workers who take their „New Approaches” program. Learn more about the new approaches on the Fair Labour Commission website. Registered contracts apply until they are terminated or replaced. The agreement has received the support of 80% of those who voted for it and is currently before the Fair Work Commission, which is awaiting its certification. CWU members and other Lend Lease employees voted in favour of a new enterprise contract after nearly six months of negotiations.
